Introduction of TVXQ!

 

TVXQ! is a quintet Korean boy band who was formed in the year of 2003 under the popular Korean entertainment and talent agency, SM entertainment. They later officially debuted in February 2004 by a television show on MBC-TV. Though more commonly known as ‘Dong Bang Shin Ki’ (동방신기) within Korea, TVXQ!, the acronym for Tong Vfang Xien Qi (東方神起), remains the quintet’s official name. The name, when directly translated, means 'Gods Rising from the East' in English. Later, they were introduced into Japan under Avex Trax in the year of 2005 by the name of Tohoshinki (とうほうしんき). These five members had taken their first step into stardom while still attending high school.

Kim Junsu (Xiah) was the first member to join the group. At the age of twelve, he was brought into SM Entertainment through a televised talent search. He won over the judges with his great vocal ability which also procured through the next six years of training.

The next to join, is Jung Yunho (U-Know), who had taken the first place in a dancing competition. After that, he gained a certain level of experience and exposure (locally and oversea) by being a rapper and backup dancer for singer Dana.

Next up is Kim JaeJoong (Hero) who had left his hometown to join in SM Entertainment's audition. He managed to secure the first place seat for both Best Looking and Best Vocals in an audition of 5000 people.

The group's youngest member joined in fourth. Shim Changmin (Max) was then grouped together with the youngest participants in the audition. However, his powerful voice impressed the judges, most notably for the depth and strength of his voice.

The final one to join in the group was Park Yoochun (Micky), who had just joined the team one year before they debuted. He was noticed when he won an open talent show and that helped to secure him a contract with SM Entertainment in Korea.

With so, the search for the perfect five has finally ended. The boys were then brought together with Yunho appointed as the leader of the quintet.

东方神起是个韩国五人男生团体。他们在2003年由韩国著名的娱乐经纪公司，SM娱乐组织而成。之后，他们在2004年2月在MBC电视台的节目中正式出道。虽然在韩国他们普遍上被称为 Dong Bang Shin Ki，但是他们的官方名称始终是东方神起的英文简写 TVXQ!。他们的名称可以被肢解译成“由东边升起的神”。在稍后的2005年，他们在Avex Trax的带领下以Tohoshinki的名号开始远征日本。团体中的五名成员，都是在高中时期就迈开了征战演艺圈的第一步。

金俊秀（细亚）是首位加入此团的成员。在12岁的幼龄，他就通过电视选秀被带入SM娱乐公司。他浑厚的歌唱实力不止征服了所有评判的心，也带他走过了六年的训练期。

下一个加入的成员，是在舞蹈比赛中称冠的郑允浩（瑜卤）。在那之后，他以为Dana饶舌和伴舞而获得了良多的舞台经验以及海内外曝光率。

再者是为了参加SM公司举办的面试活动而离家远行的金在中（英雄）。他成功在5000余人的面试中称霸最佳外貌及最佳歌艺奖。

第四位加入的，是团中年纪最轻的沈昌珉（最强）。他当时连同数位面试中年纪最轻的参赛者们被安排到了同一组。无论如何，他极具爆发力及深度的嗓音成功让所有评审留下了深刻的印象。

最后一名加入的成员是在出道前一年才加入的朴有天（秘奇）。他在赢得了一场公开选秀节目后开始被留意，尔后这也成功为他守住了一份 SM 娱乐公司的契约。

来到这里，五个最佳人选终于出炉了。这五个男生之后被带到了一起，而允浩则被指定为团长。
